What are some good romance novels that include hanky panky?
I'm 16 and I hate the 8th grade based books that are like "OMG he kissed me today...ON THE CHEEK EEE!" if u get my drift. Im not looking for a vampire story cause those are over rated now. Anything is racy is good =P thanksWhat are some good romance novels that include hanky panky?
John Ringo's books, with one or two exceptions, generally have something somewhere about bonking (that's another word for hanky panky). So does Christopher Moore's stuff. I'm sorry, the only books I know of that seriously involve what you're looking for involve vampires and other supernatural critters:
the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton
the Merry Gentry series by Laurell K. Hamilton
the Vampire Huntress Legend series by L. A. Banks
the Crimson Moon books by L. A. BanksWhat are some good romance novels that include hanky panky?
Check out Jacqueline Carey's series starting with Kushiel's Dart. Phedre gets pleasure through pain and is trained as a spy her owns her contract (sort of, lol). It has adventure, romance, heart ache and raunchy bits. No vamps but does have magic and a bit of religion in it.

What romance novels would you recommend?
My best friend loved Judith Mc Naught's "Whitney, my Love", "Perfect" and "Something Wonderful", and "Until You", and Jude Deveraux's "Palomino". I'm thinking of buying her another, but I don't know which she likes better, historical or contemporary romances. What romance novels would you recommend?
my favorite historical romance writers are Julia Quinn and Hannah Howell. you cant go wrong with either
Nicholas Sparks Books are a good choice.
YOu could go with Message In a bottle, The Notebook, THe Guaridian, A Walk to Remember, The Wedding... and others.
Theres also Noughts and Crosses Trilogy, it has a love story in it, and is really good, about these to people (black and white) about how they struggle to be together but can't because of theres skin color, and how the fight for their love, its really good, but it can get kind of violeint. What romance novels would you recommend?
I love Meg Cabot and Sophie Kinsella's books. I am in the process of reading Emily Giffin's books. They are all great authors!
For I teen I recommend Meg Cabot's young adult books. She is the best author. She has adult books too, so you can grow with her. www.megcabot.com
When all else fails: GIFT CARD to Book Store! :)
I like Nicholas Sparks, but I don't know how he is compared to the two mentioned authors.
Good LuckWhat romance novels would you recommend?
i dont know if it is much of a romance book but a book that you should read it is "Intervew with a vampire" by anne rice
Go with McNaught. She has a newer release, "Can't Take my Eyes Off of You", if your friend doesn't have it yet may be a good choice.

What are some good summer teen romance novels?
I've read The Summer I Turned Pretty series, and loved it. I read The Last Song, Truth About Forever (I've read all Sarah Dessen books), and Invincible Summer was amazing. Something similar to these. However, i want no books about vampires/zombies or whatever. I want realistic fiction. Thanks! What are some good summer teen romance novels?

What are some great young adult romance novels?
I'm open to almost everything anything as long as it's not too dark. The"Twilight" series was amazing, but I would rather not go any darker than that. Thanks for your help! What are some great young adult romance novels?
The Summer I Turned Pretty %26amp; It's not summer without you : a summer novel / Jenny Han.
Belly spends the summer she turns sixteen at the beach just like every other summer of her life, but this time things are very different
Soul enchilada / David Macinnis Gill. (This has a great romance as well as lots of action %26amp; it's funny)
When, after a demon appears to repossess her car, she discovers that both the car and her soul were given as collateral in a deal made with the Devil by her irrascible grandfather, eighteen-year-old Bug Smoot, given two-days' grace, tries to find ways to outsmart the Devil and his minions.
The foretelling / by Alice Hoffman.
Growing up the daughter of an Amazon queen who shuns her, Rain rebels against the ways of her tribe through her sister-like relationship with Io and her feelings for a boy from a tribe of wanderers.
The nature of Jade / Deb Caletti
Seattle high school senior Jade's life is defined by her anxiety disorder and dysfunctional family, until she spies a mysterious boy with a baby who seems to share her fascination with the elephants at a nearby zoo.
Naughts %26amp; Crosses by Malorie Blackman
The author creates a very believable alternate world that is almost like our own--but the main difference is a major one. Everything you think you know about race relations and prejudice holds true, but is switched. The ruling class to which the main character Sephy Hadley's family belongs are the (blacks) Crosses, named for their supposed closeness to God. The other, the (whites) Naughts, like Callum and his family, are second-class citizens. In this world, it's unacceptable for a Naught and a Cross to be real friends, and unthinkable for them to fall in love. Callum and Sephy are breaking all the rules of the society they live in.
(SERIOUSLY. PICK IT UP.)What are some great young adult romance novels?
I don't have the authors names with me currently, but here are some good ones I've been reading this summer. Boys Next Door, followed by the sequel Endless Summer. Another good series one is Deadly Little Secret, followed by Deadly Little Lies. There's 1 book that has 3 in it, called True Love. Kind of on a more emotional path though. Also the books by Susane Colasanti are really good, especially When it Happens. Hope this helped :)
A series The Hunger games by Suzanne Collins
Thirteen reason why by jay asher
Something happened Greg logsted
After kristen harmel
Raven summer David almond

Why do women think that listening to explict love songs and reading adult romance novels?
Any better than watching porn. What is their logic behind this? Why do women think that listening to explict love songs and reading adult romance novels?
i'd rather watch porn
i don't like to read and love songs are cool to listen to but yeah don't do it for me!
but here is a difference between most men and women!
men are visual a photo can turn them on!
women need more then a photo, a plot or story, a theme, we search for a feeling over hey look at that nip.. lol
so there is your logic!
There is an aspect of privacy and self-respect that goes along with romance novels that doesn't require the involvement of anyone but the reader. I don't know what you mean by explicit love songs, because love songs don't tend to be explicit.
There are songs about love, and there are songs about sex.
Some women enjoy the private display or feelings of sensuality. It's our nature, be we don't necessarily want to share it with the general public.
Pornography is the antithesis of sensuality. Sensation is taken to levels that excludes the involvement of love in pornographic material.
The discussion of Art vs Pornography may interest you if this is a question you really want to pursue. Why do women think that listening to explict love songs and reading adult romance novels?
Dunno, to me it sure seems like exactly the same thing. Those novels are pornographic in nature. They don't have pictures but they're just as explicit, and the end result is pretty much the same as watching porn.
Actually, know what's interesting? Pornography and fornication have the same root word in Greek. So I'd say stuff that graphically depicts fornication, even if it's through words instead of pics, is porn.
I don't care for romance novels, I prefer whodunnits. But if other people want to read romances it doesn't bother me.
But I think porn is lame. My husband likes reading adventure stories, he likes Clive Cussler, Dan Brown etc. I think I would find it a bit offputting if he was looking at porn etc instead. It seems a bit feeble to me.
I don't much care for explicit love songs, but I'm not very musical. My husband likes stuff like the Carpenters, Helen Reddy, Kate Bush etc, I am not sure whether you would call their stuff explicit or not.Why do women think that listening to explict love songs and reading adult romance novels?
Sure, there's a similarity to porn and smut (romance novels) as both engage sexual fantasy. But there's one thing that all smut has that a lot of porn doesn't, and that's additional entertainment value. There's still the rest of the story, not just the sex.
I'm not saying one is better or worse than the other. They're just different.
I think it's based on the general cultural idea that reading a book is "better/smarter" than watching TV. It takes more effort to read and you have to focus more on what is going on-- and you have to use your imagination.
Just in general, I prefer books... but I don't think porn or erotica is dirty or bad in the first place, so I don't really care about that debate.
women are not as visually stimulated as men
thats why single men want sex more often.
science proves it saying testosterone is the driving factor
the double standard that women are labelled for having multiple sex partners is due to the fact that women dont have sex with any average man. every woman has standards
so if a man gets sex means there is something good about him - thats why he is praised
on the other hand single men have sex with any kind of average woman.
so if a woman does him everyone thinks she has no standards because she can do much better
The one describes feelings and respects the experience of sex.
Porn acts like people don't even think they just get into it, which most rational people realise is stupid because you may get feelings for someone and they do not feel responsible for your emotions because .. wait for it...they don't know you.
"Explicit" love songs are actually listened to moreso by men. Women listen to romantic love songs more.
Romantic adult novels involve art of some form.
Porn is just crude sexual imagery.
We don't think it's better honey. We KNOW it is.
They're less overtly sexual. Pick up a copy of Hustler when you've never seen it before and you'll know immediately that it's porn. Pick up a Harlequin novel when you've never seen it before and it'll take some time before you get to the porn.
because generally, women are not as easily visually stimulated as men are.
Men and women are wired very differently when it comes to certain things.
women and men see things differently. women prefer to fantasize rather then watch. men prefer to watch.
Because a woman thinks with her brain and some guys....can't get their brain to think above their jocks.

What are good books for girls that are into romance novels?
I've already read the Twilight saga. What are good books for girls that are into romance novels?
The Mortal Instruments Trilogy by Cassandra Clare
Here are the books in order:
1. City of Bones
2. City of Ashes
3. City of Glass
I'm a sucker for romance novels. Not crappy Harlequin romances, but quality writing. I also have a weird definition of "romance novel," but here are some of my favourites:
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
His Dark Materials trilogy (The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass) by Philip Pullman
Sarah Dessen is a decent author, but her story arcs are predictable and unchanging
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy
These are all classics, I know, but they're the most solid, as opposed to Twilight fluff (which I love--don't flame me!).What are good books for girls that are into romance novels?
OMG you are so lucky i saw this question. I like romantic books but only if they have, like, vampires (but not horrible, fangy ones). Twilight was good but my favorites are...no particular order...
1)The vampire diaries series
2)Vampire acadamy series
3)City of bones series--------might be my favorate but im not sure
4)Gone
sorry i cant remember all of them!!!
Women of the West series or the Love Comes Softly series by Janette Oke.
A Thousand Tomorrows by Karen Kingsbury. Almost anything by Karen Kingsbury.
Some other good romance authors are Lauraine Snelling, Wanda Brunstetter, Judith Pella, Donna Winters, Rosey Dow. Check out anything by any of them. What are good books for girls that are into romance novels?

The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare
Twilight and those two are my favorite series of books! They aren't all romance but there definitely is some in there!
Anything by Barbara Cartland. It is safe for even the youngest girls to read and has no sex or violence.
Anything by Jane Austen, of course. It's the only "romance" novels I like.
well if you read a manga the fruit basket series is REALLY good
Valley of the Dolls
gross

What are some good in-depth romance novels?
Preferably in the view of a female, but it really doesn't matter.
This is for my grade 10 comparative essay. I am looking for two books (preferably by different authors, but similar books). They are supposed to be in depth.
I prefer modern settings, and I like romance.
I am not a big book reader, but they have to be longer books, and in depth.
Thanks! It would also help if you sent me a link with a blurb on the book! What are some good in-depth romance novels?

Names of historical romance novels with harems or being sold?
I've just finshed Silver Angel by Johanna Lindsey, and I just loved it, so please suggest any romance book with a harem or one where the heroine gets sold into slavery
Thx =)Names of historical romance novels with harems or being sold?
"The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant is historical fiction and based in the Middle-East a few thousand years ago.
You can read about it on amazon - then buy it! It's a GREAT read!

Also, if you've seen the movie "Memoirs of a Geisha" and liked it, the book is FABULOUS! Those women were sold into prostitution, basically. They were educated and trained to sing and play instruments, but they were prostitutes, pimped out to any man who'd pay for them. It's historical fiction, and also on amazon:

It's been a very long time since I was into the romance genre. But I remember reading a book in the early 80's by Bertrice Small called Skye O'Malley. However, if you're looking for light romance, this is not it. This one is more a passion and unbridled lust kind of book. She gets sold into slavery and spends time in a harem in Algiers. I think there were a couple of sequels to the story too.Names of historical romance novels with harems or being sold?

Does anyone know any good vampire romance novels?
i loved the twilight series and the house of night novels, but i read them all and now i need another book, any ideas?Does anyone know any good vampire romance novels?
vampire kisses?
Listed from Favorite to least favorite:
1. Twilight Series- by Stephenie Meyer-Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn- you would think they were for just teens but I found them very enjoyable. I also know many other adults who enjoyed the series. Definately need to read in order.
2. Southern Vampire Series- by Charlaine Harris- aka. Sokie Stackhouse series. (Next book releases May 2009) Very good series. The HBO series True bloods is based off this. I would recommend for older teens and up due to sexual content.
3. Vampire Academy Series- by Richelle Mead- Vampire Academy, Frostbite, shadow kiss (next one comes out in August 2009). Very good series! Would classify this as older teens and up. Very entertaining! Definately need to read in order.
4. Black Dagger Brotherhood Series- by .R. Ward- 6 books. First one is Dark Lover. About 6 extreamly tough warrior vampires. Each book is based on a different brother however they should still be read in order. I would classify this as adult due to the sex scenes but an older teen would definately enjoy it as well.
5. The House of Night Series- by P.C. Cast %26amp; Kristin Cast- Marked, Betrayed, Chosen, Untamed (next book comes out 3/10/09) Also a very good series. Teens and older would enjoy this. Has romance and action. Must read in order.
6. Blue Bloods Series- by Melissa De La Cruz- Blue Bloods, Masquerade, Revelations (next book comes out 9/1/09). Teens and older would enjoy this.
7. Night Word Series- by L.J. Smith- 3 volumes so far that have three books a piece in them. The stories are all interlinked in one way or another in the "Night World" however the same characters dont tend to repeat between the stories. The world stays the same but i think of them as all seperate books. Each book was entertaining though. Teens or older.Does anyone know any good vampire romance novels?

What is your favorite romance novel or novels?
I'm looking for some good love stories :) I'm 18 so I can handle adult ones. What is your favorite romance novel or novels?
My favourite? The Time Travelers Wife.
THE most amazing romance book ever!
You have to read it! And if you have been put of by the awful film, please dont let it stop you reading the books. They murdered the story with that amazingly bad film :@ Im still angry with them! Hahaa
Hope I helped :)
I have quite a few, i don't of course know what you are into so i'll take one from each area. My favorite classic romance has to be "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte. For Modern romance/modern comedy it would be "Animal Instincts" by Gena Showalter or anything by Lori Foster. For Supernatural romance it would be "A hunger like no other" by Kesley cole though anything from her Immortals after dark series instantly appears in my regular reading rotation. What is your favorite romance novel or novels?
lol okay im going to name you some authors that u might enjoy...Julia Quinn (historical romance), Judith Mcnaught (historical and contemporary), Julie James (contemporary), Lisa Kleypas (historical and contemporary), Susan Elizabeth Phillips (contemporary and historical) ...im not sure which you would be more interested in, contemporary or modern...im going to name a few of my faves...the Bridgerton series, How to marry a marquis, Splendid, Minx (Julia Quinn), Westmoreland series (Judith Mcnuaght), Practice makes Perfect Julie James, It had to be you, this heart of mine, match me if you can (Susan Philliops), Suggar Dadddy, Smooth talking stranger, Blue-eyed devil, and A LOT of historical (Lisa Kleypas)...i suggest you check out the sites of these authors to find what ur looking for ....and of course Nicholas Sparks
Favorite of all time... Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. there's an entire series, and the next two book, Dragonfly in Amber, and Voyager are very good as well, but Outlander is the best. What is your favorite romance novel or novels?
Hi. Honestly, I recommend Looking for Alaska by John Green. It's not your average lovey-dovey, cheesy romance novel but it's amazing.
Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers is an amazing book!

(FOR THE LADIES) What is it about romance novels that you love?
I know there are a lot of women who enjoy reading romance fiction. I'm just curious as to why? What is it that you enjoy or find appealing the most. Is the 'boy-meets-girl' scenario. Do you enjoy supernatural/historical romances? Is it the character development that draws you into the story? Share your thoughts....(FOR THE LADIES) What is it about romance novels that you love?
they give me the romance i need in life when i don't have it.My life lacks romanticism and drama and that's why i watch hallmark movies:)) dramas, cheesy tom hanks(uhh) films. Now I'm starting to read homosexual stories, war love stories and feminists like Colette
....hmmm and it's male thoughts i'm interested in too
Drama.(FOR THE LADIES) What is it about romance novels that you love?
ugh. i hate romance novels, they are all the same. big strong tempermental hunk meets fiesty mary-sue heroine, they argue amidst palpable sexual tension, he awakens long suppressed feelings of vulnerability in her, she tames his bad-boy ways and reveals a tenderness he never knew he had...puke!
its the idea of the perfect love. although it usually leaves me feeling bitter about my own experiences, it gives me hope in knowing that one day i might get that perfect ending, that a true gentleman actually exists, that no matter who the girl is now matter what her flaws and faults she always finds a man who loves her for them.(FOR THE LADIES) What is it about romance novels that you love?
It's something that we all want in real life, and when you start to read a book, it just gives you some kind of hope, ya know what I mean? You get to step inside the world of someone who has someone to love them, and kind of get to experience what it would be like, and I guess after you're done you might feel a little crappy that you don't exactly have whatever the person in the book had, but it gives you that little fighting hope inside that maybe someday you will.
At least that's why I read them...I know, a little cheesy right?
hate them,,, they are so wrong ,,,no love scene is like that in real life,,,
the way that they show the relationships like anything is possible if you have the willpower to maintain it one of the best things about a romance novel is that love is often where the source of willpower comes from and i mean seriously who doesnt like happy endings? (that was a rhetorical question)
I love romance.
I love the story and the relationship and the conflicts. Not all the heros are Alpha Male jerks and the heroines are increasingly sharp and independent. Modern romance novels are as far from ye olde bodice ripper as the McLaren F1 is from the Model T.
I love the way authors portray all the infinite ways there are for two perfect strangers to fall in love. And I appreciate the conflicts. Love isn't all fluffy bunnies and pink clouds. Whether it's historical, paranormal, or contemporary, the couples go through real trials to be together. They have to determine whether they really CAN make a relationship work.
Primarily, it's about the characterization. I love when an author has really made me feel for the characters and their conflicts.
They're not all the same. Not by a long shot. With all the different sub-genres, and all the vastly different voices and styles of current authors, you really never know what you'll find when you open the pages.
I love vampire-human romance with the man being the vampire and the human girl. It's just so dangerous and forbidden. It's usual the rough sex plot that attracts me. Besides in reality guys are not really attentive of a woman's sexual needs whereas in the romance novels men really know how to bring her pleasure. But I don't like the sappy moronic stories where they fall in love and live happily ever after cos that's just pathetic. I find the forbidden romance more appealing and they necessarily have to happily ever after and most they don't. I love the 'Dead' series by Charlaine Harris and the 'Twilight' series by Stephenie Meyer. They're are my romance novels at the moment and they both involve vampire romance. lol
Escape......a mind vacation.....
To me they are pure escapist fun. I love knowing that at the end the characters are going to have their HEA (happy ever after) or at least something close to it. I am too aware of real life and I like to get lost in a good romance for at least a tiny while. Important to me are characters, followed by a plot that hooks me off the bat. I don't like overtly melodramatic plots though, those make me gag, to be honest.
My favorite types are paranormal and historical romance. Contemporaries are a very distant third.
if i can relate to a main character

its the idea of the perfect love. although it usually leaves me feeling bitter about my own experiences, it gives me hope in knowing that one day i might get that perfect ending, that a true gentleman actually exists, that no matter who the girl is now matter what her flaws and faults she always finds a man who loves her for them.(FOR THE LADIES) What is it about romance novels that you love?

What are some good romance novels besides the Twilight series?
I read them all and they rocked! What are some good romance novels besides the Twilight series?
yeah, that's a pretty funny question
of course the answer is there ARE NO other romance novels. Before all you guys came along, we were wandering around in the dark, like chickens without heads. We didn't know WHICH end was up.
Then along came Twilight and it opened our eyes to LITERATURE!
o THANK you for coming along at this point of time and providing a light in this benighted world.
Well, I don't know how old you are, but if you are maybe 15 or over and you like tear jerker type romances, the book The Notebook is really good. It is what the movie was based on. The guy that wrote it, Nicholas Sparks, also wrote A Walk to Remember and a bunch of other ones that are all romances. I have only read The Notebook but plan to read more cause it was so good. Made me cry a lot though. What are some good romance novels besides the Twilight series?
vampire kisses, interview with the vampire, the vampire lestat, a tale of two cities. I read them all and they rocked!
I'm 17 too; fortunately I have the maturity and knowledge of a 32 year old, and have decided that the Twilight books are utter trash.
Try Interview With The Vampire, although I have to say A.Rice went nuts recently. What are some good romance novels besides the Twilight series?
Evermore The Immortal series by Alyson Noel. Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, Ever can see auras, hear people's thoughts, and know a person's entire life story by touch. Going out of her way to avoid human contact and suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school鈥攂ut everything changes when she meets Damen.
Damen Auguste is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy. He's the only one who can silence the noise and random energy in her head鈥攚ielding a magic so intense, it's as though he can see straight into her soul. As Ever is drawn deeper into his enticing world of secrets and mystery, she's left with more questions than answers. She has no idea just who he really is鈥攐r what he is. The only thing she knows to be true is she's falling deeply and helplessly in love with him.

All I can think of off the top of my head is Twilight and you probably have alredy read that haha. How much of an age gap are you looking for?
~Edit~
Well in that case..... hmm...
I read a book called Enthusiasm a while back. I can't remember what the author's name is but I think the main character is in high school and the guy she falls for is in collage. Anyway, it was a cute book. There is a pic of a girl in a red dress jumping on the cover if that helps you find it ;)What are some good romance novels with a age gap between the girl and guy?
I would say "Lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov, but you said nothing too freaky. I don't know then

Would you say reading romance novels brainwashes the female mind?
Does it make her think that relationships should be like fantasies? Or is it the opposite, do you think they help in the relationship field in some way.Would you say reading romance novels brainwashes the female mind?
I read everything under the sun but have never read Mills and Boon. My friend went to Sicily this week and ,on the same day I came across a Mills and Boon romance, set in Italy. So, merely for the Italian content, I decided to read it. I'm not recommending it or anything, but I've read worse.
I take it back. Have finished it now and have to say it IS the worst thing I have ever read. I doubt that we would be influenced by the content of this kind of silly romance. Who knows, though?!Would you say reading romance novels brainwashes the female mind?

Brainwash. I'm F, too. They're stupid. Just like soaps.

What are some good romance novels with a plain heroine?
I have read quite a few, but I am running out of them. The heroine doesn't necessarily need to be dowdy, but just not ridiculously gorgeous. Hero can be plain, scarred, or gorgeous :)What are some good romance novels with a plain heroine?
Read "Kissed by an Angel" by Elisabeth Chandler. It's very good and it is a 3 in 1 book. The main character Ivy,is beginning a new life in a new school because her mother is marrying a rich guy with a cute son.I won't tell you the end but it has a lot of twists and involves Angels. Also the book starts as Ivy's point of View and goes to Tristan's(her boyfriend).Overall it's one of my fav books. What are some good romance novels with a plain heroine?

What are some good romance novels for late teens to adults, with women disguised as men?
doesnt matter how cheesy or cliche, just a real fan of the gender pretender genre after reading some manga like hana kimi and films like she's the man. What are some good romance novels for late teens to adults, with women disguised as men?
"From this Moment on" by Lynn Kurland (http://www.lynnkurland.com/books.html)
I dont know if this counts - but its a man who pretends to be a women (but he doesnt want to dress up as a woman he sort of has too - so he's an unwilling transvestite) Its called "Number Ten" and it is by "Sue Townsend." If you like the "Adrian Mole" books then you'll lov this (same author and same style). If you havent red the Adrian Moles then as long as you like crude funny books you'll like it. :) What are some good romance novels for late teens to adults, with women disguised as men?
Oh, you'll love Star-Crossed, by Linda Collison. One of the best books I've read. It's going to be a trilogy and it's about Patricia who dresses up as a man and gets on this boat to go get her inheritance. Well, she meets this one sailor on the way and they like each other. He later finds out she's a woman, and well...you'll have to read it to find out what happens. It's really good.
Then there's Girl in Blue. It's also a good book. It's by Ann Rinaldi and it's also Historical Fiction like the aforementioned. It's about Sarah and she dresses a boy to enter a war.
Check them out.
Good luck!
Ashes in the Wind by Kathleen E. Wooddiwiss. This is a historical romance about a girl in during the civil war who is in some trouble with the law. She poses as a young boy and she works with a surgeon to clean the hospital. This is one of my favorite books by this author. It's probably about 600 pages, but i read it it 2 days, so it's deffinitely a page-turner. I highly recommend this book as well as A Rose in Winter by the same author. I know you'll enjoy it. :)What are some good romance novels for late teens to adults, with women disguised as men?
Well, not exactly Manga, But Terry Pratchett wrote a discworld book where the lead character had to disguise themselves as a man. It's called 'Monstrous Regiment' and is available on amazon quite cheaply - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0060013168/?t鈥?/a>
I found it quite an entertaining read.
Tipping the velvet by Sarah Waters
I read it when I was about 12 or younger but it certainly an adult read and includes cross dressing
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tipping_the鈥?/a>
and
Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchett- Absolutely brilliant!
'No Bed for Bacon' by Caryl Brahms and S J Simon. Think 'Shakespeare in Love' but much better! With a girl pretending to be a boy so she can join Shakespeare's Theatre Company (Where the boys act the female parts!)
not quite a novel but a classic none the less, Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare

What are a few great teen romance novels?
No Stephanie Meyer or Sarah Dessen, I'm past that!
I loved the Mediator series, and I've read a few Meg Cabot books, so don't bother mentioning her, I know she's great.
And if it isn't too much trouble, could you please include a short summary of the book?
Thank you. What are a few great teen romance novels?

These are among my favorites. Here is a link her website which includes other books she has written. They really get into the feeling of young romance, and the characters are relate-able to a young reader.

It's not exactly to teens, but teens can easily read it...try Nicholas Sparks books. They are fantastic. My favs. are "The Lucky One" (about a man who finds a picture of a woman while off at war and believes it keeps him safe, goes to find the woman, and some surprising things happen..), "The Guardian" (I forgot exactly what it was about, but it was kind of a mystery romance, and I remember thinking it was an amazing book), and others (:
Try "Royally Jacked" by Niki Burnham.

Where can I sell my old romance novels for a good price?
I have about 250 to get rid of.Where can I sell my old romance novels for a good price?
I can't really tell you where you could get a good price....most of them give you 1/4 of the face value... I'm speaking of the paper back exchange. Maybe if you took them to a place like cowtown, or have a big yard sale you could resell them at a better price....I've never done this, I always give my books to the library for free, or a friend that I know can't afflord books and loves to read !!!!!!Where can I sell my old romance novels for a good price?
Paperback romances are sold very cheaply at thrift stores, garage sales, etc. You may not be able to get a good price for them, but here are a couple of ideas:
Go to a used book store and trade them for other books.
Donate them to a thrift shop associated with a charity and take the tax deduction.Where can I sell my old romance novels for a good price?
Call the independent book stores in your area and ask them if they buy books. Not all of them do--so it's always wise to check first before making the trip. If it was just one or two or even ten, I wouldn't bother, because frankly it wouldn't be worth it; I'd just donate them to a library. But 250? Sure.
Just don't expect one store to buy all of them.

What are some short good teen romance novels for girls?
It also can be about teen pregnancy, teen marriage, proposals,or already had a child as a teenager!!!What are some short good teen romance novels for girls?
Any book by Nora Roberts are good romance and mystery(sort of) novels. I read Twilight but that's really long and some of them aren't exactly what I would call romance, especially the first one. It's more about protecting and violence. Although Twilight is an amazing series, I love them! But Nora Roberts books are really good and not nearly as long as Twilight.
I liked Tribute.

Romance novels were a woman disguises herself as a man for some reason?
I don't mind if their bodice rippers or whatever.
I like the historical types and probably military types as well, but i haven't read very many so whatever you suggest is fine.
Preferably ones that has both the male and female point of view. Oh, and have an actual story.Romance novels were a woman disguises herself as a man for some reason?
lady rogue by suzanne enoch is the first one that comes to mind.
http://www.suzanneenoch.com/Lady-Rogue-s鈥?/a>Romance novels were a woman disguises herself as a man for some reason?
"Pope Joan" by Donna Woolfolk Cross-- In the early Medieval period, a girl takes the identity of her dead brother and advances through the Church hierarchy - the only means of social mobility and education available to anybody at the time - to become Pope. Based on a persistent historical legend. There is some romance in it.Romance novels were a woman disguises herself as a man for some reason?

She's the man is also what I thought of first (if you haven't seen it you should) but since it is based off of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, you could read that.
I don't know about books but I know a film, thats called she's the man, you could see if it is a book?

Do you like Action, Adventure, Comedy, or Romance novels?
I love romance novels. Especially ones written by Jane Austen. I only like the classics not the ones written in this decade. I prefer novels from the 19th century.Do you like Action, Adventure, Comedy, or Romance novels?
Comedy, most of all, because it's very difficult to pull off really good humor in a novel, despite what people think, so when someone can, they get major props from me. Plus, I like to smile and laugh when I read- get in a good mood.
But, if it's done right, I do like romance, too. Mostly, I love a novel that can combine everything together- action, adventure, comedy, and romance. I think I've found that novel in "The Princess Bride".
i like action because I don"tlike being bored.Do you like Action, Adventure, Comedy, or Romance novels?
I like Mystery
I kinda like all of them mixed together, like in the Harry Potter series, there's action with Lord Voldemort, adventure with exploring Hogwarts, comedy when someone says something stupid or like when Harry was under the invisibility cloak, got mad, kicked the wall, made a little yell from pain, and sent a terrified little girl running down the corridor. There is also romance between many of the characters. I like just about every book I read though.Do you like Action, Adventure, Comedy, or Romance novels?
ANY romance novel is all mine =]
my favorite is action games and action movies
i like adventure and romance
Bloody Jack is a great book!!! it also has romance
Twilight by Stephani Meyer is a great book too
TTYL and TTFN are great books!!!
The Sight , The Telling Pool, and the The Bringer are great books too.
i love to read romance novels also. but i like the ones where the focus isn't on sex. those are sometimes too fake and overly dramatic.
The Count of Monte Cristo, The Man in the Iron Mask, The Three Musketeers, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Scarlet Pimpernel and the Tale of Two Cities are all great reads with romance galore. Also the epic poem by Rudyard Kipling ' Gunga Din '.
I like adventure, comedy, action, and romance, in that order. I find romance novels to be a bit boring and lacking a real plot, but that just goes for modern day romance novels. I love a good mix of adventure and comedy.

Are there any romance novels without the description of sex?
I'm looking for something for my niece. She tried picking up Twilight by Stephanie Meyer but didn't like it. Any other suggestions? Are there any romance novels without the description of sex?
Most of the titles that I can think of fall in the inspirational romance category, particularly Christian inspired ones. Would something like that be suitable or are you looking for something non-religious as well? Harlequin has a line called called Steeple Hill that are much more wholesome:

probably not, all romance novels i read have sex related in them. but to double check go to ur library or ask the lady at the checkout deskAre there any romance novels without the description of sex?
well i think that the definition of a romance novel is the sex, if you are looking for a tween/teen sort of series try the traveling pants.
try Love Comes Softly...i can't remember the authors name but it is a great story. this is a Christian novel that promotes this particular faith so if you don't care for Christian ideals, i would not recommend this book.
also, this book was followed by 2 or 3 more! Are there any romance novels without the description of sex?
There are some, you may have better luck in the YA or teen section. You may have more luck looking for (example) fantasy that has a slightly romantic plot/ending. I know of some if you are interested.
The older romance novels don't have descriptions of sex. If she wouldn't mind historical romances, Georgette Heyer is one of the best that comes to mind. They're well written, funny, and the sexiest they ever get is a description of a kiss.
Enjoy!
A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks
Almost anything by Nicholas Sparks should do. Sex might be mentioned in his books, but it never goes further than that. His books are very appropriate. Here are some more of his novels.
The Notebook
The Wedding
A Bend in the Road
True Believer
I would check with a librarian or someone at the book store. There have to be lots of books out there that aren't trashy or that go into details. I find that the books without all the details are much more interesting than those that tell all every other page. I've put books down that do that. Get on with the story already. I don't need to know every little thing.
I find that there is more romance and mystery to the story when things are left unsaid or not described in minute detail. If you want porn, read porn then.
Plus - to some - Romance and sex are not the same thing.
Well, depending on how old your niece is, you might want to take a look at Mercedes Lackey's "Fairy Godmother" and other books in her "500 kingdoms" Series. They're all stand alone novels but sometimes characters from earlier novels make guest appearances.
Gail Carson Levine's "Ella Enchanted" is pretty good. Her other books like the Princess Tales Series are not bad either.
You could also try Shanna Swendson's "Enchanted Inc" books.
Meg Cabot's books are always very entertaining. You've probably heard of the Princess Diaries but she's written quite a few other books under various pen names like Jenny Carroll and Patricia Cabot. Most of her books are great fun.
Judy Blume's Forever was one of my favourite books when I ws younger.
Apart form this you've always got the teen romance novels which are written especially for a young audience.
If none of these suggestions work for you, try checking these links out. They're a list of teen romances from amazon.com and I'm sure they'll be pretty helpful...

yea.the Love comes softly are good books they're romance but not any sex in them
Janette Oke is the Christian romance author who wrote Love Comes Softly, which another answerer referred to. She might be worth a try.
Also, back when I worked in a library (shelving fiction books), I remember hearing that Barbara Cartland said one of the hardest things about writing her books was keeping the couples out of bed until he got the ring onto her finger, but she did take a little pride in always being able to manage that feat. I guess the reason it stuck was because I put away so many of her books while I was working there! And her books took up a nice chunk of shelf space, too. I've never been a fan of romances, but I always had the impression that Barbara Cartland's works were of the classy sort, not trashy.
Anyway, Ms. Cartland might also be worth a try. Good luck!
Try something like Jane Eyre...wonderful.
The truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
Book Description
Macy's summer stretches before her, carefully planned and outlined. She will spend her days sitting at the library information desk. She will spend her evenings studying for the SATs. Spare time will be used to help her obsessive mother prepare for the big opening of the townhouse section of her luxury development. But Macy's plans don't anticipate a surprising and chaotic job with Wish Catering, a motley crew of new friends, or ... Wes. Tattooed, artistic, anything-but-expected Wes. He doesn't fit Macy's life at all--so why does she feel so comfortable with him? So ... happy? What is it about him that makes her let down her guard and finally talk about how much she misses her father, who died before her eyes the year before? Sarah Dessen delivers a page-turning novel that carries readers on a roller coaster of denial, grief, comfort, and love as we watch a broken but resilient girl pick up the pieces of her life and fit them back together.
Hi Sunshine,
Try romances by Avalon Books. They have both contemporary and historical romances with no sex, only wonderfully romance.
They are hardback, so you may have to order them from your bookseller or Amazon or get them from your library.
Holly Jacobs is one of my favorite writers.
BTW, I sold my first novel to them. It will be out in Feb 2008. Also, Harlequin Intrigues might be worth looking into, too. Try anything by Vicki Taylor or Beth Cornelison.

What's the point of a romance novel without the sex? That's like a chick flick without a crying jag or an action movie without an explosion. Are you sure you aren't looking for Snow White or Cinderella?

I've been wanting to read something in these times because it's so fascinating. =DDoes anyone any romance novels that are set in the renaissance or the times of knights and princesses?
While Phillipa Gregory's novels (like The Other Boleyn Girl) are excellent, they are not romances but historical fiction.
For medieval romances try The Conqueror by Kris Kennedy, or The Highlander's Sword by Amanda Forester.Does anyone any romance novels that are set in the renaissance or the times of knights and princesses?

What are your fave teen romance novels?
I love adventures like Found by margaret peterson haddix and her shadow children series as well.
I like romance novels like those of Catherine Clark (picture perfect is cool). i'm not really interested in twilight.
Other books I like are: Oliver Twist, Jane Eyre, the Archy McNally series, the Jesse Stone series, the Clique series, the Notebook, Flipped, Gathering Blue, the Giver, etc.
What other books do you think I would enjoy? Thnx!!!What are your fave teen romance novels?
Twilight saga
The Morganville Vampire SeriesWhat are your fave teen romance novels?
You may not think you are interested in twilight, but you should give it a chance. I didn't think I would like them either and our taste in books seems similar. I think you should also read jodi picoult books, they are ahhhhmazing.
I recommend East (Edith Pattou) and Enchantress of the Stars (Sylvia Engdahl), keep in mind they aren't just purely romance books. They have some adventures to them. :DWhat are your fave teen romance novels?
Twilight
Remember Me to Harold Squarevance and hines wheels and tires

Do you know any teen romance novels?
i already read twilight and new mooon by stefanie meyer which were amazingly undiscribably awesome. something like that would be nice. i read traveling pants series which were amaziingly boring. compard to twilight. and i read dreamland by whats her face.......sarah dessen and now i'm reading the truth about forever. anyway i need some romance novels for teens. any ideas?Do you know any teen romance novels?
i agree, Twilight and New Moon are my all time favorite books! It's strange because I'm trying to read the third Traveling Pants book are you're right, its boring in comparison. A good book you could read (though sorry its not a romance) is My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. It's a really great book. Or Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz.
Telling Christina Goodbye by Lurlene McDaniel.
She writes a lot of romance novels and short stories. However, i haven't read Twilight yet but I certainly hope to soon so I'm not sure if they are the same style and all. Have you tried Nicolas Sparks?Do you know any teen romance novels?
I'm not a fan of Lurene (sp?) McDaniel-her books tend to be romantic, but extremely depressing. In almost all the ones I read, the heroine died. So. I'm not into her.
Nicolas Sparks is an amazing author, however, but not really a teen romance writer...but still very good for teens. I'm a fan of older romances, like Wuthering Heights and Pride %26amp; Prejudice-both of which I recomend. Another good book is Back Asswards and Belly Up-I forget the author, but it's pretty good. No where near as good as Twilight, but better than Traveling Pants, even though it's not that romantic-it's just a good book with some elements of romance thrown in. Happy reading! 鈾?/div>
I defiantly agree that Twilight and new moon are amazing! The first Romance novels I started reading for teens were Avon Teen Fiction, true Romance. There are like 10 books all by different authors. One is called Anna and the Duke by Kathryn Smith. If you go to Amazon.com and type in Avon True Romance, it will give you a list of them. They are extremely different than Twilight because they are much more romance based and not so much adventure, but still good. Good luck!!Do you know any teen romance novels?
I'll Be Seeing You
A Walk to Remember
A Gown of Spanish Lace
Christy Miller series
Fifteen
Girl of the Limberlost
Cute is a Four-Letter Word
Hail, Hail Camp Timberwood
Christy
Julie
A Groom Worth Waiting For
Going on Sixteen
To Live Again
The Locket
Up a Road Slowly
Philip Hall Likes Me..I Reckon Maybe
A Room With a View
Anne of Green Gables series
Some of these books are true romances, others just have some romance in them. Try authors Melody Carlson, Lurlene MacDaniel, Janette Oke, Penelope Stokes, Betty Green,Betty Smith, Ellen Conford, and Ann Tatlock.
Ok so there's always the rest of Sarah Dessens books. Their all awesome.
And there's the "Princess Diaries" (I know that their kinda lame, but go with it, once you get into them, they are kind of addictive)
The "Private" series is pretty good too.
Enjoy
P.S. I Love the Twilight series too.
Try My 2 favs. House of the Scorpion about a colne who falls in love with a spanish girl or Blood and chocolate.
Try Dial L for loser. I don't know if it's a romance, but I'm pretty sure it is.
may be nancy drew one of it series is based on her love story

I don't really know many sadly, but I like the writings of the artist, Matt Redman's wife, Beth.
Beth's good at writing books that sound like it's actually going on in your room :O However, those books are more like self-help guides and comical teen events rather than novels. Personally I like "Being a Girl of God" by Beth, but that's because I'm a teenager like her target audience.
One book that I do have and LOVE is called "singing thrgouh the night" by Anneke Companjen. It's a story about perscectued christian women that still continue to worship when their men have been exceuted.
If I were you and you want to find decent books, go into your Christian bokshop in town (or go to your nearest one). Most have HUGE collections of novels for you to choose from.
I hoped I help a little! God bless in your searching!
HannahWhat are some good christian romance novels?
Amy Wallace has written a series of books called the Defenders of Hope series.
Ransomed Dreams
Healing Promises
Enduring Justice
Have you read the old Frank Peretti books, This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness? He wrote another good book called The Oath.
And surprisingly, Dean Koontz wrote a fantastic novel called The Taking. If you're looking for an end times book, this will make you think.
I would highly recommend the Christian author Bud MacFarlane Jr. His book called Pierced by a Sword is a wonderful, wonderful book - it has some excellent romance as well as an apocalyptic feel to it. Bud MacFarlane also has some other books - Conceived Without Sin, House of Gold, etc. I haven't read all of MacFarlane's books, but I truly enjoyed his Pierced by a Sword.

well, if your interested in non fiction there are tons of end times books that are great. Anything by Mark Hitchcock or Joel C. Rosenberg is great. I recently posted a review of Rosenberg's latest book - Inside the Revolution - on my book review blog. check it out:

"The Shack" by William Paul Young. About a man whose little girl was kidnapped in murdered. He receives a note in the mail from God, goes to the shack where they found the girl's dress, and receives a revelation... the guy exists.
"Beyond the Millenium" by Meier and Wise. End of time book. I loved it.

Moonlight by Rachel Hawthorne (Dark Guardian #1) This book has lots of romance and their love is so intense and passionate exactly like Twilght but with werewolves!
I see him and know what this turmoil inside of me means: He's the one. My forever.
Kayla is the nature lover, the all-American beauty who can't understand why she's so drawn to distant, brooding Lucas. Adopted as a young child, she has no way of knowing that she's inherited a terrifying鈥攁nd thrilling鈥攇ene that will change her life forever.
lucas is dangerous, gorgeous . . . and a werewolf. As leader of the Dark Guardians, shape-shifters who gather deep within the state park, he has sworn to protect his pack. But when Lucas finds his true soul mate, his love could put them all in harm's way.
As Lucas and Kayla struggle with their feelings for each other, a greater danger lurks: Humans have discovered the Dark Guardians and are planning their destruction. Kayla must choose between the life she knows and the love she feels certain is her destiny.
A Certain Slant of Light-by Laura Whitcomb This is truly the most amazing ghost love story I have ever read!
Helen died 130 years ago as a young woman. Unable to enter heaven because of a sense of guilt she carried at death, she has been silent and invisible but conscious and sociable across the generations. Her spirit has been sustained by its attachment to one living human host after another, including a poet and, most recently, a high-school English teacher. While she sits through his class one day, she becomes aware of James and he鈥搖nlike the mortals all around them鈥搃s aware of her as well. James, who also died years earlier, inhabits the body of a 17 yr old Billy. James and Helen fall in love, he shows her how to inhabit the body of a person whose spirit has died but who still lives and breathes, and the two begin to unfold the mysteries of their own pasts and those of their adolescent hosts.15 yr old Jenny, whose body Helen now uses, is the only child of strict religious parents who controlled her beyond what her spirit could endure. Billy's spirit left his body after a string of tragedies resulting from drug abuse and domestic violence. James and Helen court in both modern and old-fashioned ways; here is a novel in which explicit sex is far from gratuitous or formulaic

Does any one know of other great ones? What are the best vampire romance novels?
It's not a novel, but a manga series... Vampire Knight. Try looking it up on amazon. It's a thousand times better than Twilight, in my opinion. And the drawings are wonderful. Seriously... it's like the best. Even if you've never read manga, you have to try it.
Other than that, novel-wise, I read the first Vampire Kisses, which was really good actually. I'm going to read the others, but I haven't gotten them yet.

At this site, for instance, you can pick science fiction and then get more specific lists like books that deal with time travel or aliens or robots. The main address is
http://www.goodreads.com/
paste the link I gave you above into your browser
click the explore tab (you don't have to log in to use the site)
scroll down a bit to the genre tags and select what appeals to you
This site includes lists for children, young adults, adults, sci fi fiends, romance junkies, etc.
When you have time, just noodle around the website. There are three different types of search boxes and they don't all show up on a page depending where you are. Book mark lists you like so you can find them later.
Fallen Series 鈥?Lauren Kate
* Not high school romance, boarding school romance (?).
The Clique Series 鈥?Lisi Harrison
* Recommended, it fits high school romance.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 鈥? Ann Brashares
* Not totally romance focused, more of a girly read.
The Confessions Of Georgia Nicoloson 鈥?Lousie Rennison
* Fairly long, still really good, though.

Does anyone know of any romance novels that involve small chested woman?
Just for the record, not all guys, myself included like huge plastic breasts.
I think they are boobs and so are the women who get them installed. And, I don't read books about women's breasts anyway. Who does that?Does anyone know of any romance novels that involve small chested woman?
i was talking about romance novels not just womens boobs

Any vampire romance novels that are worth reading?
Im kinda picky when it comes to books and I do judge a book by it's cover. So far Ive been reading:
Vampire academy ( by Richelle Mead)
The Blood Coven (by Mari Mancusi)
Twilight (byStephenie Meyer)
The Immortal (by Alyson Noel)
Any suggestions? I'll realy appreciate a breif description of the book also.
10 points for each thats comes up with good books.Any vampire romance novels that are worth reading?
I really like Christopher Golden's Shadow Saga. It's really good and intense. The Saga should be read in order, though you could easily read The Gathering Dark independently. Here's the proper order:
Of Saints and Shadows
Angel Souls and Devil Hearts
Of Masques and Martyrs
The Gathering Dark
Waking Nightmares (coming out next year)
I have a vampire booklist as well:

Dracula -- Bram Stoker
Yes, it is a romance novel, yet it is very twisted.
It's about a man called Vladimir Draculia who was a soldier. He went off to fight, and the enemy sent his bride, Elizabetta, a message saying that her husband was dead. She was so sad that she wrote a suicide note, and she flung herself off the tower. When Vladimir saw this, he drank the blood of Christ and became immortal.
Many years later, a man called Johnathan Harker is asked to go to castle Dracula, for the Count is purchasing many properties in London. One in particular is called Carfax Abbey, and it is an insane asylum. The Count wishes to purchase Carfax Abbey, for his pleged servant Mr Renfield lives there, and he promised to make renfield immortal.
I could go on and on, but it would ruin the book, and it is very good. It is written in diray's, and all from different people.Any vampire romance novels that are worth reading?
I loved The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith. It has a lot of romance and a lot of vampire action.
The House of Night by P.C. Cast is really good to. There is a lot of love triangles and there is vampire stuff. The vampire stuff in there isn't very traditional but its very cool.
Night World 1 and 2 by L.J. Smith are both about Vampires I believe and I really like them.
Vegas Vampires by William Hill is really amazing also but that is more...R Rated! lol
I'd like to humbly reccomend my new book, Cara Mia, Book One of the Immortyl Revolution. It's actually an urban fantasy with romantic elements. I take a fresh look with a vampire culture based on ancient cultures, which gives my heroine a lot to rebel against. Her love interest, Kurt is a very complex individual. He looks blonde and angelic, but is one tough little guy. My site is www.deniseverricowriter.webs.com. My book is out on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.com, Fictionwise and is in e-book and trade paperback. It's not in a lot of bookstores yet but you can special order it by giving author and title for them to look up. I sell autographed copies on my site. Enjoy! You can friend me at Immortyl revolution on Facebook. I'm also in live journal, Gather and Immortylrevolution.blogspot.com.Any vampire romance novels that are worth reading?
The Private Series by Kate Brian is AMAZING
The House of the Night Series by P.C cast is even better
The Hunger Games by Susan Collins is very good
The mediator series by Meg Cabot is ok
and
The Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenger is not my favorite book.
If you haven't already read them, you should look into Charlene Harris's books. Also check out author J.R. Ward. Both are awesome romance series that involve vampires.
These aren't all romances, but...
Night Road by A.M. Jenkins
Mr.Darcy, Vampyre
True Blood
The House of night series
Blue bloods series(my friend says its really good)
One bite with a Stranger.....?(its a little mature though like TMI mature*but it involves vampires*)
hmmm i guess the vampire diaries is a romance (REALLY GREAT) and vampire kisses
The only decent vampire romance I know on that list is Twilight. But like I said, it's decent.
I can't think of any, but I like Twilight, too. :)

Best romance/action thriller novels for young adults?
I used to read a lot of thin, pointless novels, but now I'm getting into some thicker books, like my sister's keeper, the last song, inkheart, etc. I really like romance novels but I also like mysteries, action thriller, or all 3 combined.
By thick books, I mean 300+ pages. Please don't say Twilight because I have read them already.
Thanks :)Best romance/action thriller novels for young adults?
water for elephants
the fountainhead by ayn rand (if you like this then read atlas shrugged)
honest illusions by nora roberts-love this!

Sister's Keeper is by Jodi Picoult and my daughters like to read lots of her stuff. Check out some more of her books. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold is also a good one. (way more than the movie) If you're in to fantasy stuff that isn't Philip Pullman or J.K. Rowling, Neil Gaiman is good with the Graveyard Book or Neverwhere or Garth Nix with a really cool trilogy, Sabriel, Abhorrsen and some other one. Speak by Anderson is a decent read and you might want to try The Book Thief. Look up reviews for these and you should like one of em' at least.Best romance/action thriller novels for young adults?
