I've already read the Twilight saga.What are good books for girls that are into romance novels?

I'm a sucker for romance novels. Not crappy Harlequin romances, but quality writing. I also have a weird definition of "romance novel," but here are some of my favourites:

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

His Dark Materials trilogy (The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass) by Philip Pullman

Sarah Dessen is a decent author, but her story arcs are predictable and unchanging

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte

The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy



These are all classics, I know, but they're the most solid, as opposed to Twilight fluff (which I love--don't flame me!).What are good books for girls that are into romance novels?
OMG you are so lucky i saw this question. I like romantic books but only if they have, like, vampires (but not horrible, fangy ones). Twilight was good but my favorites are...no particular order...

1)The vampire diaries series

2)Vampire acadamy series

3)City of bones series--------might be my favorate but im not sure

4)Gone

A Thousand Tomorrows by Karen Kingsbury. Almost anything by Karen Kingsbury.

Twilight and those two are my favorite series of books! They aren't all romance but there definitely is some in there!
Anything by Barbara Cartland. It is safe for even the youngest girls to read and has no sex or violence.
Anything by Jane Austen, of course. It's the only "romance" novels I like.
