I like to read young adult romance novels. I started liking them when the Twilight saga came out, and I was wondering if I am to old to be liking these kinds of novels? I am 25 yrs old.Am I to old read young adult romance novels?
I work with women in their 60's who read Twilight, so I guess not.
I actually enjoy reading Skippyjon Jones to my daughter. I enjoy it as much for the story and reading it aloud as I like reading to my daughter, and that's way younger reading than you're dealing with.
I am the same age and I still read a few YA books too. You may want to try some better books than Twilight though!
I love Meg Cabot (Heather Wells [upcoming movie]%26amp; Queen of Babble [upcoming movie], and tons of others), Sophie Kinsella's (AKA: Madeleine Wickham) (Shopaholic [movie based on her books] %26amp; Remember Me), Jennifer Weiner (Good in Bed %26amp; Certain Girls), Jane Green (Mr. Maybe) Emily Giffin (Something Borrowed %26amp; Something Blue), Lauren Weisberger (Devil Wears Prada, Chasing Harry Winston), and Candance Bushnell (Sex and the City) books. They are all great authors!
If you want more info or any of the authors website's email me.

I didn't really enjoy Twilight and I kind of picture it as being meant for fourteen year olds. However, I think it would be criminal to tell someone that they are too old to like reading a genre of books.
Read whatever you feel like reading. You can never be too old.

..................Am I to old read young adult romance novels?
Are you going to be quizzed?
Are the book police going to come and rip it out of your hand?
Are you hurting anyone by reading what you want when you want?
If you answered "no" to all these questions, then guess what???
Nobody gives a flying crap what you read. Now or ever!
You're 25. You ARE a young adult, so therefore these are geared towards people like you. I was expecting you to be 45 by the title of your question. Even then, I would have said "No, you're not too old, read what you like".
I am over 40 and read Young Adult novels but not romance. You can't call The Hunger Game a romance because it is good. (even for guys to read)
No never too old...
I belong to a book club and there are young adult (note adult in the title!) books that are read. The age of the book club ranges from 20's through to 50's...
