Well them novels just make you believe that some day you will experience something like that and thinking about yourself being in their place makes you feel nice. But then again, if you are heart broken you cant really stand this kinda books. Thats why romance novels where more popular in the past like 40s-60s because people were treating each other with respect and it was different back then.
