Is there a sub-genre of romance novels that has a slow build up for the love interests?

So many romance novels have the main characters fall into bed right away. I really enjoy a romance novel with a slow build up. In fact, I don't mind a complete absence of sex in romance novels, or just a mention of it. The blow-by-blow is a bit overrated, imo. But, I don't know how to find this in a novel. Is there a sub-genre for this type, or any suggestions on what keywords to use for search? Thanks! Is there a sub-genre of romance novels that has a slow build up for the love interests?
Young adult or Christian romance. Walmart was selling Harlequin Love Inspired books for awhile, Christian based. You can also try any of the Harlequin books except Presents or Blaze. Each category romance has a "heat level". Harlequin American Romances are suspose to be sensual but not overly sexual.

Sometimes you can tell at the store. If the cover has a hot, shirtless guy, chances are, the book is not tame. Look for the more subdued book covers. Is there a sub-genre of romance novels that has a slow build up for the love interests?
I believe you would have to be willing to search for a novel that does not primarily focus on romance, but instead on a different genre. Romance would be the secondary genre of that novel, and thus most likely has a "slow build up". Sorry for the disappointing answer :(Is there a sub-genre of romance novels that has a slow build up for the love interests?
I think that you're best bet will probably come from a Young Adult romance novel: usually no sex, slow, sweet relationship build-up for the main characters.

Hopefully that will be useful. :]
