-Howl's Moving Castle - Diana Wynne Jones (it's ya fiction, but it's wonderful =D)
-Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries by Dorothy Sayers (the ones with the heroine are Strong Poison, Have His Carcase and Gaudy Night. These aren't to everyone's taste - some of my favorites though)
-Witch of Blackbird Pond - Elizabeth George Speare (classic)
-Gone With the Wind - Margaret Mitchell
- Historical novels by Philippa Gregory (The Other Boleyn Girl, etc - she likes to write strong women)
- Anne of Green Gables and the rest of the series - L.M. Montgomery
-Bridget Jones' Diary - Helen Fields (love it soo much...)
