I've read Carolyn Grays A red tainted silence, and am so in love with the book that i'm searching for similar novels. Do you have any suggestions? What are the best angst filled m/m romance novels?
You could try Madeline Urban's "Cut and Run" which was about two FBI agents assigned to a murder investigation. It wasn't the best I've ever read but it was entertaining and angsty.
"The Assignment" by Evangeline Anderson is about two undercover police officers and very angsty but also very graphic in the love scene department. If you don't mind that I'd highly suggest it. I'm pretty sure it was published by "loose-id" like the story you referred to.
If you don't mind historicals I'd suggest "Ransom" and its sequels by Lee Rowan. It is a very well researched story of two men in the Royal British Navy who are kidnapped along with their captain. This story is very plot heavy and the romance doesn't come in until about halfway through the story, but it is a great, angsty sort of a story.
"Raised by Wolves" by W.A. Hoffman is another seafaring historical and angst heavy.
The PsyCop series by Jordan Castillo Price is really good. It is about a psychic who can see ghosts and works for the police department. He starts up a relationship with an officer from another precinct. This one is also pretty graphic in the bedroom scene department and the majority of the angst comes from his job and his past rather than his relationship which is pretty stable.
"Crossing Borders" by Z.A. Maxfield is kind of a sweet/angsty contemporary story about a college student who starts a relationship with an older police officer. This is another one with numerous rather graphic bedroom scenes but is still a good story. Another Loose-Id publication I believe.
You can check all of these novels out on Amazon because that's where I purchased them all from.
Hope those help!
