If you liked the twilight series ( so did i :D) then you'll love the noughts%26amp;crosses series by malorie blackman!
It dosent have anything to do with vampires of werwolves or anything like that, but it is a story of forbidden love. There are 3 books in total the first one being noughts and crosses, the second knife edge %26amp; the third checkmate. They are amazing!!
i wont give it away but its basicly about a world where everyone is either a nought or a cross ( basicly black or white) but its a bit differnt one is pale one is tanned, Well crosses are very high class, and noughts are looked down upon. well sephy and callum fall in love sephy is a cross callum is a nought and its all forbidden love. Then alot of things happen which are very shocking, there are alot of tragedies deaths and all that. It realy is an amazing series, even if you dont want to pick my answer as the best, and you pick someone elses and read there book, id still try and get round to reading noughts and crosses sometime :)

good luck with finding a good book %26amp; happy reading :)
I've never read the twlight series and don't usually go for romance novels but read a couple that were actually pretty good. Who's Your Daddy and Chicks Ahoy by Lynda Sandoval are really good. (she also writes adult romance)
The other one that was decent was How Not To Spend Your Senior Year by Cameron Dokey
They're not like your typical romance (or at least not the adult romance novels my sister reads) but they're still romance.
Another series you might consider is the Frog Princess series. It's a little different and don't know if you've consider it romance but they're good books. And they're also a little different than the typical book. There's at least 5 books out that I know of.
Hope that helps, and keep on reading.Anyone know of any good teenage romance novels?
Love lessons is a book by Jacqueline Wilson, I think she writes about herself when she was a teen.
the books is about a teenage girl whose father is so protective of his daughters he doesn't let them go to school, Prue and her sister Grace are being homeschooled by their father. But after her father goes to hospital the girls are sent to school for the first time in their life. Grace finds friends easily but Prue has trouble with her classmates she is being bullied and mistreated but then she mmets her art teacher Mr. Raxberry. When Prue starts to babysit for her art techer the tens minutes when he drives her home is like heaven to her. Mr. Raxberry loves Prue too but they both know they will never be together...
Star Girl by Jerry Spinelli
Stargirl is new at school she is liked by everyone at school at first. She sings a happy birthday song every day to someone different. how she finds out its their birthday no one knows but when it comes to the most popular girls birthday she is told not to sing to her bu star girl doesn't listen and the whole school is turned against her. Exept for Leo, he falls for her and she knows it they become something amazing together but Leo is put to make a choice Star Girl or everybody else...

- Gone with the Wind" %26gt; Very romantic!
- "Pride and Prejudice".Anyone know of any good teenage romance novels?
Try Jane Austen and the Harlequin Romances. Also check your local librarian. She'll be terrific!
A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. Romance/Fantasy. 416 pages. Set in Victorian times. Lovely book.
Burned by Ellen Hopkins.
Romance/Poetry. 544 pages. Set in Nevada. A girl born into a very religious family starts to rebel. Its really good.
Uggg!! I hear ya, I've been reading then over a year and I still cant find anything that comes close *sigh* so I just keep re-reading them, lol. You should try "A Great and Terrible Beauty" Trilogy by Libba Bray, the first and second ones have touches of romance, and I personally think the 3rd on is very romantic. Its no Twilight, but its a great read anyway!! :)%26lt;
I love Madeleine L'Engle. "A Ring of Endless Light" is one of my favorite books ever. I read it when I was a teen, then again a few years ago - I still love it.
