What are some funny romance novels?

Beauty and the beast type of romance novels?

what are some of the best romance novels and books? What are some funny romance novels?
I like the books from:

Amanda Quick:

my favorite is Deceptions (I find it very funny and one of those movies that can be imagined as a romantic comedy)

Johanna Lindsey:

I LOVE the Malory family series.
Funny romance?

Sandra Hill - she has several series, two of them involve Vikings (Vikings I and Vikings II- some of these are also time travel), one is contemporary (Jinx)

Nina Bangs - she has contemporary romances and paranormals

MaryJanice Davidson-some contemporaries and paranormals

Beauty and the Beast type? Haven't read a lot of those. Here goes a short list (my fave is Medeiros):

"Ravished" by Amanda Quick

"Beauty and the Beast" by Hannah Howell

"The Rose" by Jennifer Baker

"The Bride and the Beast" by Teresa Medeiros

Best romance novels? Um, my list is huge. I'll recommend the anthology "Tapestry" with stories from Sherrilyn Kenyon, Lynn Kurland, Karen Marie Moning and Madeline Hunter. This is a fabulous sampling of some of my favorite romance writers. What are some funny romance novels?
Funny Romance:

The Millionaires Waitress Wife by Carolyn Zane.

It is about a heiress who doesn't want to be rich %26amp; the tactics she employs trying to get her family off her back. She employs a friend to pretend they are married, thinking he's a foreman of a ranch (someone her family would hate) but little does she know that he is also a millionaire!

Good at Games by Jill Mansell.

While the action centres around the court (Bristol-based mansion) of ex-rock star and former alcoholic, Jaz Dreyfuss, his ex-wives, current bubble-head and a selection of their relatives and friends, the lead role and heroine of our tale is taken by feisty, wise-cracking, ex-wife number two, estate agent extraordinaire, Suzy. Suzy's mother, recently departed for designer-heaven (as in the sky, not Bond Street), has left Suzy and her siblings to discover a skeleton (with skin and blood still attached) leaping out of the family cupboard.

Beauty and the Beast Romance:

Beauty by Robin McKinley.

When the family business collapses, Beauty and her two sisters are forced to leave the city and begin a new life in the countryside. However, when their father accepts hospitality from the elusive and magical Beast, he is forced to make a terrible promise - to send one daughter to the Beast's castle, with no guarantee that she will be seen again. Beauty accepts the challenge, and there begins an extraordinary story of magic and love that overcomes all boundaries. This is another spellbinding and emotional tale embroidered around a fairytale from Robin McKinley, an award-winning American author.

Rock Star by Roslyn Hardy Holcomb.

Rock star Bryan Spencer needs some peace and quiet to deal with the death of his best friend. He ends up in a small town in Alabama, where he meets black bookstore owner Callie Lawson. Despite the fact that she is the total opposite of the hollywood bimbos he usually goes for, they become friends and then lovers. Can their relationship have a future when they have so little in common and they have to deal with their respective friends and families preconceptions and the media backlash caused by jealous aquaintainces.

Best Romance Novels:

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.

With the arrival of eligible young men in their neighbourhood, the lives of Mr and Mrs Bennet and their five daughters are turned inside out and menide down. Pride encounters prejudice, upward-mobility confronts social disdain, and quick-wittedness challenges sagacity, as misconceptions and hasty judgements lead to heartache and scandal, but eventually to true understanding, self-knowledge, and love. In this supremely satisfying story, Jane Austen balances comedy with seriousness, and witty observation with profound insight.

Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the American Civil War, Margaret Mitchell's magnificent historical epic is an unforgettable tale of love and loss, of a nation mortally divided and a people forever changed. Above all, it is the story of beautiful, ruthless Scarlett O'Hara and the dashing soldier of fortune, Rhett Butler.

I tried to do two of each. Hope all this helps you!
