I am a teenager, but i have recently discovered all the teenage romances, suck.



i have just finished reading the time travelers wife, and i fell in love with the book, i was so upset when it ended.



so what are some other good romance novels?

Most of the older Harlequin Presents novels are good.



Not a lot of sex -sometimes none at all - and the plot lines are intense.



Charlotte Lamb is one of my favorite authors during for these books. Sometimes, the time the hero is completely in love almost to the point of obsession with the heroine.



Kathryn Blair writes good triangle romances in exotic locations with no sex scenes.

I recommend the novels of Georgette Heyer. They are period romances, mostly set in the Regency period (early 1800s). They have good characters, exciting plots, plenty of humour, and lots of interesting period detail. some of my favourites include The Talisman Ring, The Corinthian, The Reluctant Widow, Faro's Daughter, Cotillion, and The Unknown Ajax. But they are all good. She was particularly good at creating spirited heroines.What are some good romance novels?

sarah dessen write good books that have romance but not entirely based on it. also for teens but i quite liked them.

The women in my family really love Georgette Hayer novels. They're historical romances, extremely well researched and written, and the characters are complex and realistic. They're romance, not erotica. I think you'll like them.
I would try Jennifer Weiner if I was you. She is witty, romantic, and just plain funny!



I have read her novels Good in Bed, Goodnight Nobody, Little Earthquakes, and In Her Shoes. All of them are good, and she has more that I haven't gotten around to yet.
