I've already read Twilight, and I also wanted to be clear that I'm not looking for old romance books, such as Pride and Prejudice and Wuthering Heights, even though I know they are good. So, please give me anything you can think of that is romance but not old, and thank you. What are some good romance novels?
Black Dagger Brotherhood
J.R. Ward
In Order:
Dark Lover
Lover Eternal
Lover Awakened
Lover Revealed
Lover Unbound
Lover Enshrined
-will be at least 3 more
-Only issue people have reading it are the "lesser" parts because they are kinda boring but we all managed to read all of the books and still want to read the rest. p.s. dont skip the "lesser" parts
(my books are falling apart because my friends like to read them so much seeing as we are all in high school or college we don鈥檛 have that much money but I buy the books and we have a line of about 8 people who read them but if one of my friends has the money they go buy them so they don鈥檛 have to wait. These books are pretty steamy I have some friends who tell me they have to stop reading and go find their boyfriends... It would not be a grandma appropriate book)
Stephanie Meyer
In Order:
Twilight
New Moon
Eclipse
Breaking Dawn (comes out in Aug.)
(I love this series but there is something wanting you can tell they were meant to be adult romances that were made teen appropriate for selling more, but I still love them, They are awesome!)
Nina Bangs
(the ones she writes are hilarious My fav. is Taste of Darkness鈥?its not exclusively vampire but they all have vampires as one of the people in the couple for the book)
Guardians of Eternity
Alexandra Ivy
In Order:
When Darkness Comes
Embrace the Darkness
Darkness Everlasting
-she has agreed to write 3 more
(another series that is falling apart because of being read so much)
Robin T. Popp
In Order:
Out of the Night
Seduced by the Night
Tempted In the Night
Lord of the Night
(the first is my least favorite but I love this series and its originality I don鈥檛 know if there will be more)
The Vampire Chronicles
Anne Rice
-this is not really a romance series but it might make way for vampire book conversations seeing as a lot of people have read them
(The order doesn鈥檛 really matter after "Tales of the Body Thief" but this is a slow hard series to read the author also got saved and stopped the printing of the books but you can find them at almost any Half Priced Books store she is however going to write one last book about the redemption of the main character)
A Novel Of The Darkyn
Lynn Viehl
In Order:
If Angels Burn
Private Demon
Dark Need
Night Lost
Evermore
-there will be more
(I love this series it鈥檚 a little harder to read the parts not about the couple but worth it)
Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
-hers are teen appropriate but still good seeing as she started the series at age 13

In Order:
Blue Bloods
Masquerade
(another teen appropriate but good and original)

The Circle Trilogy
Nora Roberts
In Order:
Morrigan's Cross
Dance of the Gods
Valley of Silence
(this was a series I borrowed from a friend loved it so much I bought It for myself)
These do have sex in them so if that is not what you meant don鈥檛 read them. Unless I said they were teen appropriate.
nonvamp
Annette Curtis Klause
Blood and Chocolate
-werewolf
Rebecca York
-all these books have moon in the title

Megan's Mark
Harmony's Way

Dawn's Awakening
Mercury's War (not out yet)
-she started the series over with these books the ones before them are out-of -print
My favorite romance writers are LaVeryl Spencer, Sandra Brown, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Nora Roberts and Jude Deveraux. You can't beat these women for romance. Sandra Brown spices hers up quite a bit with sex. LaVeryl Spencer writes wholesome books. Susan Elizabeth Phillips is not only romantically inclined, she's funny as all get out. Nora Roberts has some sex in her books, but it's not the hot and steamy type like Sandra Brown. And Jude Deveraux writes a good book, but her books are not funny and she doesn't have anything hot and steamy in them!!!
Enjoy! What are some good romance novels?
Twilight: by stephenie meyer is an exelent romance and it also has action in it. It might be slow at first, but it gets REALLY good.
here are all of the books in the series:
1)twilight
2)new moon (my favorite)
3)eclipse
4)breaking dawn(comes out in august '08)
5)midnight sun (twilight from edward's perspective; it has'nt come out yet)
If you love twilight, the movie is coming out december 12th.
Have you read the sequals for Twilight? Also another book that is really awesome is called Redeeming Love. It is an "inspirational" romance novel, however the love story between the main characters is absolutely amazing! It's very real and not a cheesy "fairytale" love story. What are some good romance novels?
