I'm really into romance novels and such, and I wondered if there were any really good ones out there about teenagers, other than Twilight?Are there any good teen romance novels?

That is my summer book list. Everyone one has romance of some sort - I think. I hate any other books without romance.



Bear in mind there are a lot of books I have read not during this summer, and some of these books are sequels to books I've previously read. Must-read authors:



Sarah Dessen (lots of romance. although plots are incredibly repetitive, so I don't reccomend reading ALL her books.)

Sara Shepard (Her Pretty Little Liars series is actually insanely good. Its so scary. And scandalous. And full of romance!)

E. Lockhart (her hilarious take on love through the eyes of Ruby Oliver in the Boy Book series is brilliant. Her other books, e.g. Fly on the Wall, Dramarama, etc are equally stunning - Dramarama was so realistic and sad - a must read. And Fly on the Wall is very, ahem, educational.)

Sarah Lawrence, Hobson Brown, Cecily Von Ziegesar, and any other author who writes those clique-y rich-girl books (the books are okay. The characters are pretty much the same in each...usually it involves a Queen B, her posse and a clueless newcomer. But there is always some love-related drama. I don't know if that's what you're into...I'm personally a bit bored as these are SUPER repetetive after a while, but they make for light reads.)

Hailey Abbott (has a gazillion books on love and boys...mind-blowing.)

Meg Cabot (A lot of people are put off by the fact that she wrote the Princess Diaries. They have in fact not read the Princess Diaries, despite the lame name and covers, they are amazing. And have brilliant romance plots. As do all her books. All her books contain romance. ALL OF THEM. And she is by far my favourite author. Don't diss it if you haven't read her.)

I never read twilight - mostly because people kept telling me that i should but i love romance novels

Other really romantic novels are the ones by Jane Austen - my favourite is Sense and Sensibility and although i found it quite difficult to get into i really enjoyed it eventuallyAre there any good teen romance novels?
Set in medieval times, Elissa finds herself battling again her fathers arranged marriage to Sir Gregory by running away to London. She learns that her first love is dead, and falls in love with the escort that her best friend arranged for her to go to London with. Love complicates between them, especially when Elissa's brother Henry comes back and kills his parents to reign power.

Nicholas Sparks books.. there all mostly romances, they are quite short but like 3 of them have been made into a movie.



Most recent being The Last Song starring Miley Cyrus.



I've read a walk to remember and seen the notebook.

Amazing.Are there any good teen romance novels?
Nicholas Sparks is an amazing romance author.



Lurlene McDaniel writes great love stories but usually features some sort of tragedy in them. Still great books.
