What are some good historical romance novels suitable for young adults?

I love Jane Austen's novels, and Philippa Gregory's I absolutely adore, just to give you a vague idea of what I like. And I'm only 16 so perhaps nothing too complex or hard to read either =P

Ones that are more about love, than just pure sex and desire also would be preferred.

Thanks alot, any suggestions are greatly appreciatted =)What are some good historical romance novels suitable for young adults?
Georgette Heyer might be a good starting point.

I truly dislike the idea that, at sixteen, you're too young for anything "complex". What defeatism. As soon as you hit your teens, the whole of human literature should be open to you. Aim high - it's worth it. Anything else is defeatist.

Having said that, try -

Jane Eyre - Bronte, C

Middlemarch - Eliot

Tess of the D'Urbevilles - Hardy
