It is said that youth like yourself cannot appreciate REAL literature and must resort to childish fantasies.
I agree with the second answerer.Romance novels to read after the twilight series?
I really enjoy reading books of the supernatural and "out of this world".
I really liked:
Gena Showalter's series of Atlantis. These series takes you to the underwater world of Atlantis filled with mermaids, nymphs, vampires, demons and more
-The Heart of the Dragon
-The Jewel of Atlantis
-The Nymph King
-The Vampire Bride (Layal's story new for 2009)
My ultimate favorite series is Gena Showalter's series Lords of the Underworld. Cursed immortal warriors search for Pandora's Box in order to keep themselves alive but find out that they must find it before the enemies do and face the wrath of the greek/titan gods. Finding their true loves along the way, takes them by surprise and creates new obstacles in their search.
-The Darkest Knight
-The Darkest Kiss
-The Darkest Pleasure
-The Darkest Whisper (Sabin's story new for 2009)
I liked any book by Amanda Ashley...
Her books are of the Vampire loves human category
Her books include
-NIGHT'S MASTER
-A WHISPER OF ETERNITY
-AFTER SUNDOWN
-DEAD PERFECT
-NIGHT'S KISS
-DESIRE AFTER DARK
-NIGHT'S TOUCH
If you want to journey to the realms of King Arthur after the fall of the round table when Demons ruled the earth, Mandrakes (half human/half dragon) and gargoyles flew in the sky, and the good guy was once the bad guy, than take a peek at the Lords of Avalon series by Kinley MacGregor
-Sword of Darkness
-Knight of Darkness
If you love time travel romance books and like big beefy highlander men who can leap through time then you would like the Masters of Time series by Brenda Joyce, I really loved this series so far.
-Dark Seduction
-Dark Rival
-Dark Embrace
-Dark Victory (new in 2009)
How about a series about the "Familiar" race. Familiars are people who can transform from man to cat, and have a very sensual passionate side to them. A futuristic/ time travel series that reminded me of alot like Star Wars with all the odd creatures that are introduced. This series by Dara Joy is a must have!!
-Knight of a Trillion Stars
-Mine To Take
-Rejar
" Hundreds of Years to Reform a Rake" by Laurie Brown (paranormal involving a ghost)
"Wizard's Daughter" Catherine Coulter (paranormal)
"Everlasting" by Mickee Madden (paranormal involving a ghost)
"Bride Enchanted" by Edith Layton (paranormal)
"Thirty Nights With a Highland Husband" by Melissa Mayhue(paranormal)
"The Waterlord" by Dawn Thompson (paranormal w/ hero from a different dimention)
"The Ravencliff Bride" by Dawn Thompson (Paranormal with shapeshifter)
I am currently reading a great book called TOUCH OF NIGHT by Carin Rafferty. It is a modern romance that has a warlock as the main hero. The heroine is looking for her brother, a reporter, and finds herself being guided by the warlock into the dark realms of a Satanic coven. It is a page-turner and I can't put it down.
