I'm 18, I want a deep love story. I've already read the twilight series, and I loved it, but since it was so good, its hard to find anymore romance novels to compare. What books do you suggest?
Dont suggest any "pre-teen" books, I want something with depth. What are some good romance novels?
a great and terrible beauty. AMAZING!!! not as much love as the 2nd and the 3rd one tho...they are Rebel angels and the sweet far thing. um....uglies series id REally good also...i havent read anything ales l8ly. hope this helps
read "the bronze horseman" by paullina simmons or any of the books in Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series. What are some good romance novels?
I love nicholas sparks books. Many of his books have become movies ex: the notebook, message in a bottle. etc
Withering Heights is classic one.
A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude DeverauxWhat are some good romance novels?
Nothing compares to Twilight. I'm afraid everything else will be absolute garbage after reading Twilight....
I loved the Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.... it's more of a revenge/romance novel written in the 19th century. Beautiful writing but there's more revenge than romance =\
If you loved the series you should consider joining our RPG at

It's fairly new so it won't take you too long to catch up on the story!
my personal best and it's not sloppy, gooey, kissy-kissy love story. by gerald browne, 'it's all zoo'. this would make a wonderful movie that any actor, any age could carry this off. the star of the 'show' would be paris but place and setting could be anywhere from shanghai to nyc. great, great story!
I really liked Montana Sky and Carolina Moon by Nora Roberts. Montana Sky is about 3 sisters who never really knew each other. When their dad dies, he says in his will that in order for each of his daughters to inherit part of his estate, they must all live together on his ranch for one year. Through the year, they learn to love each other and find love for themselves, along with trying to figure out who is murdering their livestock and friends. Carolina Moon is about a lady who kinda has psychic powers. When she was younger, her best friend was killed when they were supposed to meet one night in the forest, but she ended up not being able to go out. Later when she was an adult, she moves back to the town and tries to figure out who the killer is and also falls in love with her dead friend's older brother. Hope you enjoy these.
You've gotten a lot of recommendations for 'Wuthering Heights' by Emily Bronte, so go for that one, :) . Also, there's 'Suite Francaise' by Irene Nemirovsky.
Try:
the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton
the Merry (or Meredith) Gentry series by Laurell K. Hamilton
the Game series by Christine Feehan
the Dark series by Christine Feehan
You can read the first chapter of each of these books on their websites.

Happy reading
The Lady and the Unicorn
i must admit, it isnt very romantic, but there are some very sexy bits.
the notebook
is an amazing novel as well
wuthering heights is a classic to start off with. it was mentioned in twilight as well.

i love the twilight series and i also like the nightcreature series, although the vampires and werewolves are not so cuddly in those books, but they're pretty sexy, so i'm not sure if that's what you want. they start with Blue Moon, Harvest Moon, Crescent Moon, etc. hope this helps. They are by Lori Handeland.
A Thousand Tomorrows-Karen Kingsbury
and The Choice-Nicholas Sparks
Pride and Prejudice is amazing, because it is by Jane Austen.
If you enjoy that book, you could also read Emma by her as well, and Jane Eyre.
Then, there is Romeo and Juliet, and a Midsummer Night's dream.
I reallyreally loved Atonement, by Ian McEwan, one of the best books I have ever read.
-Andreea
i love pride and prejudice and wuthering heights. i dont know if they have the type of deep love story that you are looking for, but they both involve wonderful love stories and they are two of my favorite novels.
'Water for Elephants' by Sara Gruen. A very deep love story - as far from pre-teen as you can get. A major best-seller and I believe the movie rights were bought for it.
