Are there romance novels aimed at men?

I thought it would be interesting to read a romance novel but they all seemed to be aimed at women. Are romance novels just inherently feminine? Are there romance novels aimed at men?
Matt Dunn, Mike Gayle, Tony Parson, Sam Holden, nick horby, Duncan fairhurst, hope this helps
I think they can be aimed and both men and women, in a traditional book to have a romance you need to have both male and female. So the female reader would look at the main female character and the male reader would look or compare him self to the main male lead.

Not all romance novels are written by females, i learned a few years ago that some are written by men using female names. So that is really placing the romance from the male point of view but using a female name.

Shakespeare was a male and he wrote romance/love stories etc

A male and female could read the same book, yet end up with two completely different feelings on who it was aimed at ie male or female..............so i guess it's really up to how you would interrupt what was written down like anything else. Are there romance novels aimed at men?
The actual genre is definitely aimed at a female audience, though some men do like to read romance, and certainly there are more men that read it than they are willing to admit. And yes, there are quite a bit of male romance authors out there, however, the books are still mostly aimed at a female audience. I do have to say that a lot of romance fans are able to tell when a romance has been written by a men using a female pen name.

Romantic fiction though, i.e. Nicholas Sparks, is an example of a genre that does aim to please both males and females.

Romance aimed at a male audience tends to be LGBT, though a good deal of LGBT romance readers and authors are also females.
It depends how you narrowly define "romance." I don;t think the traditonal romantic novel really appeals to men, but other books from other genres can still have a romantic subplot.

For example: Rameses the Damned by Anne Rice. Its a horror about a mummy, a drama as the mummy discovers his world is gone, and a romance as he falls in love with the daughter of the guy who awoke him.Are there romance novels aimed at men?
There was a story on TV some time back and a large percentage of readers of these romance novels are in fact men. I guess they just don't leave them out on the bench in the locker room.
No, we don't do romance, just the old in and out.
Not at all, no.
