What are some good historical romance novels?

Hey guys! I love reading books by Judith McNaught, Jude Deveraux, and Nora Roberts, and I would like some similar authors of the same romance genre. Nothing too erotic, but nothing too simple either. I like romance novels with some sex scenes and true love. Thanks guys, I appreciate it :)What are some good historical romance novels?
Georgette Heyer has written some excellent historical romances.

I would try reading some books by Traci Harding. The ones I've read are The Ancient Future and The Gene of Isis by her which are both really good. The Ancient Future is based on a girl who travels back in time and The Gene of Isis tells the stories of 3 women living in different ages.

Also, if you're a big fan of sort of fairy tale romances try reading the Sevenwater trilogy by Juliet Marrilier (The Daughter of the Forest, Son of Shadows and Child of Prophesy).

They're my favourite historical romance books anyway. Hope you find something you like. What are some good historical romance novels?
Nora Roberts "Rebellion" was a good historical. It takes place in the days of the Jacobite Rebellion. Lots of historical facts mixed in with the fiction.
Alison Weir

Phillipa Gregory

Jean Plaidy

Pillars of the Earth and the sequel World Without End by Ken Follett is great with romance and building cathedrals, towns and bridges, plague, just a fantastic read!
