I think they probably brainwash. It gives girls the idea of what true love is, and when it doesn't meet their expectations of what love should be, they become unhappy with who they are with.Would you say reading romance novels brainwashes the female mind?
I think romance novels are fantasy and a BIG escape route for women. They are not realistic. No guy will be like the typical romance novel dude. Most novels are written back 100s of years ago come on.Would you say reading romance novels brainwashes the female mind?
I don't think they do either. I think they're a bit of fictional escape, like most books.
