I'm looking for any historical romance novels that are like Kathleen E. Woodiwiss's A Rose in Winter. Any Recommendations? I like books about damsels in distress and a romantic rogue coming to her rescue.Does anyone know of any good historical romance novels like A Rose in Winter?
You might also try her The Flame and the Flower (my favorite of hers) and The Wolf and the Dove. Shanna is also a fan favorite of hers. I would also recommend any book by Laura Kinsale, starting with Flowers from the Storm (really, really good book). Then move on over to Julie Garwood's historicals set in medieval times (try The Bride and The Prize). If you like Regency England, you can also try Amanda Quick novels. They're kind of formulaic, but good.Does anyone know of any good historical romance novels like A Rose in Winter?
Try pretty much any of Jude Deveraux's books .
